About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Thermoplastic Pavement Marking Foreman to join our team. This position is for someone with strong hands-on pavement marking experience who can lead a crew, perform layouts, operate equipment, and ensure projects are completed safely and correctly.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a thermoplastic pavement marking crew.
- Perform layout for parking lots, roadways, crosswalks, arrows, symbols, stop bars, and other pavement markings.
- Apply thermoplastic pavement markings according to plans and specifications.
- Operate thermoplastic striping machines and related equipment.
- Perform proper surface preparation before application.
- Read construction plans, pavement marking layouts, and specifications.
- Measure and establish accurate line locations and spacing.
- Coordinate daily work activities and material needs.
- Inspect completed work for proper alignment, thickness, appearance, and workmanship.
- Maintain a safe and productive jobsite.
- Communicate job progress and field issues with supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous thermoplastic pavement marking experience required.
- Previous foreman or crew-lead experience preferred.
- Must be able to independently layout and complete pavement marking work.
- Knowledge of pavement marking equipment and application procedures.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a team.
- Must be willing to work days, nights, and occasional weekends as project schedules require.
